I know this is an old thread - but if you are interested in 'unusual' - look up McCalls 'Cosplay Patterns' - only available online and not in stores ... and expensive!

Re: Sallie Nichols' "Jung and Tarot" - to buy or not to buy?
I read this book years ago - found it boring. Everyone seems to think that Jung wrote volumes and volumes on 'Tarot and Archetypes' - he didn't! If you are an Amazon Prime member and can get it on Kindle for free - it's probably worth every penny. {That's sarcasm, BTW ...}

Re: Hospital Horror Show
The surgeon has now postponed my hip surgery for two weeks - April 16th instead of April 2nd.
Now I have to change all the things that had already been put into place!

Re: Any bread-divas?
I once bought a bread machine at a tag sale for $10 - it did work well, but I hated prying the flipper out of the cooked loaf of bread! In truth - the bread was delicious, but I missed the 'human factor' of kneading and pounding the dough ... so I later sold the bread machine at a tag sale for $10 ....

Re: Any bread-divas?
Once upon a time I used to make a lot of bread - my recipie made three loaves worth. I actually don't have anywhere warm enough to make bread rise anymore. I tried making a 'no-knead' bread once; I think the yeast was too old. I have since left the yeast out and make my own pasta dough instead. I ha...

Re: Tarot themed duck tape
They do sell accessories for walkers - like food trays and cup holders, and even big pockets for things like magazines, tablets, and cell phones. Do a search, also check tag sales and flea markets. Sometimes the maker of your specific walker has accessories custom designed to fit their model. I pref...

Re: Tarot themed duck tape
DUCT tape - not Duck tape!
You could paint the walker with navy or royal (or both) spray paint, and go to almost any store and buy celestial sparkle stickers like kids use, and stick stars & moons all over your walker!

Re: Hospital Horror Show
At this particular hospital, they had a pdf form you could print off the hospital website, and fax , mail, or bring to the records office in person. The chart could also be faxed to a particular doctor or medical agency.
BTW - all your medical records belong to YOU, and not the hospital.

Re: Hospital Horror Show
Today I went the Medical Records at the hospital and got a copy of my chart - amazing that the diagnosis on my chart is more detailed than what my release paperwork says. My discharge diagnosis states: Streptococcus Group B sepsis ; (AKI) Acute Kidney Injury; and Rt Leg cellulitis (which I had in my...

Re: Hospital Horror Show
Altho my final diagnosis seems to keep fluctuating, my diagnosis is bacteremia positive for strep B, strep throat, and acute kidney insufficiency. Somewhere cellulitis worked its way into that altho does not appear in my discharge paperwork.
