Re: the whole Concept and stuff

When I said "besides English" I didn't mean that there would be a second title in English. I just meant "other than" English but didn't think to phrase it that way.

My contributions will be in watercolor since that's my current passion.

Re: The Tarot Bag

I used to make beaded buckskin card cases. Now I just make card cases for myself out of stiffened felt. I bead them to dress them up somewhat. They're very nice for keeping the cards protected, plus its easy to stack them or stand them on a shelf. They don't come apart like the boxes decks come in a...

We have a international community so it would be fun if the cards bore titles in the native language of their creators.... we are all knowledgeable enough of the RWS to recognise cards ...

Re: During a tarot reading do you let the client touch your cards?

I let people touch my cards if they want to. I offer them to the sitter to shuffle if they want to, but it's not mandatory. I don't sage or otherwise "cleanse" my cards, either. The Higher Power in the universe is way stronger than any evil, spiritually clingy bits around. I'm just not wor...

Re: New Moon Insomniac

I have a hard time sleeping just before and just after the full moon. This super blue moon that just passed was incredibly full of creativity, too, so at least I had something to do. :icon_lol: I actually painted a really good (for me---beginner that I am) painting in watercolors for my new great-gr...

Re: harder to read for relatives?

Sometimes I find it a little bit harder to read for my family. It depends on the questions asked and who the relative is. I raised two of my grand-daughters and they sometimes ask me to read for them. The older one especially. She's written a book and a couple of years asked me to read about the suc...

I'm sorry I didn't hear your screams for help, but I see you got your avatar up without me. I was probably just off on another page doing something.

Re: Urban Sketchers

Not yet. I haven't photographed any of my work so I can post it but I'm new to watercolors so nothing I produce is very good. In urban sketching, the goal isn't to produce spectacular art works, it's just to portray what's going on around you. I think it's very useful for actually seeing and appreci...
