Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

If you use one of the avery templates that go with Microsoft, you don't have to calibrate anything. if you look i think it may make a template the size you want. off to try it. I made my own templates with FreeHand, which is now defunct, but it was my go-to design program when I was a graphic desig...

Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

the trick is print the card back on the same piece if paper as the card fronts. to make it easier, do an overall pattern and forget about lining things up. i printed a lenormand deck for my own use on thick cardstock (business card stock), picked a geometric pattern for the back, and it turned out ...

Re: ISO Ancient Egyptian. I know...

I have Arcus Arcanum, Jane Austen, (decks only), Vic Romantic 1st edition kit (book), I don’t think my Arthurian boxed set (reprint of Hallowquest) is worth that much, & I really don’t want to part with Holy Grail, but I could maybe be enticed...but is yours by Clive Barrett?

Yes! What do I have that you would like? If anything trips your trigger. I need to update my deck list, but my new ones are, well, new ones, not OOP.

Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

i use card stock on my serious image printouts. they look better. photo paper just cost too much. Yes, get the very best cardstock you can find. Research paper. I was talking about gluing two cardstocks together, front & back. That makes the entire deck very thick. It’s difficult to line the im...

Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

This wasn’t my first rodeo. My first GJ, (yes, I was determined) I laminated with the plastic sheet stuff like you said, after printing them all. WAY thick, sharp, slippery & unshufflable, so I use them for bookmarks. Sealing them with a spray acrylic is as close as you can get to what an off-se...

Re: Treasured Deck Discussion

I made my own yrs ago. A kind Aussie sent me all the images on a CD & being the graphic designer that I am, I recreated it to perfection. Well, maybe not so perfect, I made a mistake in my choice of cardstock. Glueing front to back made them a bit too thick & difficult to shuffle because of ...
