These terms are getting used a lot and often they seem interchangeable. Are they or do you see a difference between the two? What do these terms mean to you?

I don't understand anything about publishing, and the two terms sound synonymous to me. If there's a difference, I'd love to learn more. How do you see print-on-demand publishers for example? How did you choose with whom to work?

Indie to me is non mass market - therefore including print on demand, public funded or self published.
Im sure there's more to it but I like to keep things simple :)

I feel those 2 terms (as is) are interchangeable.

To me - an Indy deck is published by an Indy (Indie?) publisher, meaning that the publisher makes marketing and other decisions such as print runs, then sells the deck to the public, paying a royalty to the deck creator. They may choose or refuse decks through an Acquisitions Panel. They don't sell what they think won't sell because they have a financial interest in it.

A self-published deck usually means POD to me. These are usually run by a printer, but all the marketing, etc., is left up to the deck creator. The printer gets his fee and prints the deck; they have no interest in its success or failure - they get their money up front.

Of course, being a publisher and/or a printer also has overlap.
