Hi can anyone tell me what if any, of the gypsy spreads out there is the original spread is it10, 15, or more cards, and do you read in three's or more like Lenormand. I should be interested to know.

I'm sorry to be so late answering. I've not been well lately and couldn''t spend much time here.

There are several Gypsy spread I've seen but one that sticks in my mind uses 7 cards, but another one takes 21 cards in 3 rows of 7 cards each. But I've used the one that's in the Buckland Romani book. I'll post it later when I can use the book. Right now I'm getting ready to go to bed and I don't want to make any noise to wake my daughter or her partner. She gets up at 4am and it's 2:30am already.

Check back closer to late afternoon and I'll have information posted here for you.

I'm sorry to be so late with this.

The Gypsy spread I use most is 21 cards. Three rows of seven cards. I name the lines---7 cards per line---and calling them whatever seems the most appropriate, such as past, present, future, for instance.

I've also read the three lines as yes----what to be expected if they do one thing, with 7 cards giving information why, why not, etc.---discussing the consequences and what to expect if they choose affirmatively.

Then second line is for "no" and same discussion

And then line 3 gives other things to be considered or whatever you want to inquire about concerning the main question.

Thanks, its Saturday morning here. One quick question, before I try this spread out do you use a full deck 52, or French 32/36.

Yes, with Tarot cards. I don't deal out all the cards, just the 21 unless maybe I add a card or two during the reading here or there.

With Lenormand and/or Kipper I use the Grand Tableau. That's where I use the full deck most often.
