Sushila Burgess

Post by CharlotteK »

Sushila Burgess has published two decks - Fiery Wands and Airy Wands - so depending on how you prefer your elemental attributions, there is a deck to suit.

The art style won't be to everyone's taste, but I find it utterly charming. I have the Fiery Wands deck and have found it a great pleasure to read with and easy to interpret.

I got my copy of Fiery Wands from Sushila's Etsy store - she also sells on Gamecrafter but this is an expensive option for us UK folks, and being based in the UK herself, Sushila realises this and has kindly made a more affordable route available.

My deck landed a few weeks after the UK had voted to exit the EU. The nine of swords in Fiery Wands is entitled Brexit Blues and as soon as I saw it, a shiver went up my spine!

Here are the two different Queen of Wands from the Fiery deck and Airy deck:

I'm very fond indeed of this deck and hope Sushila creates more Tarot art.

I wonder who'll be getting the contract to replace all those flags with new ones with one less star? They'll probably send us the invoice :icon_mad: .
