What are your Favourite Non-Card Topics?

Post by Joan Marie »

People come to this forums for a lot of things.
Tell us what you are interested in here, aside from cards.

You can select up to three things from the list.

Please feel free to elaborate, especially if you chose "Other."

Oh, wow, only three things from such a scrumptious list :-)

I have loved astrology since I was twelve years old and borrowed Linda Goodman's Sun Signs from a friend. For years, I read every astrological book I could find and calculated everybody's ascendant signs (in the pre-computer age, I needed fat books called ephemerides for making horoscopes so I only a few). I'm still obsessed with the celestial bodies, and no night passes that I don't go out at least once to look at the skies and find Vega and Mars and Aldebaran and Eltanin. It's all meaningful to me.

Lately, in the last five years or so, I have slowly discovered kabbalah which I tried to study for YEARS but couldn't wrap my head around. All of a sudden something made PLOP and it all made heavenly sense.

And spirituality, well, everything is spirituality!

But although I didn't vote for crystals and hers, I love both, have been collecting crystals for many years (as did my grandmother before me), using them to make amulets and jewelry - and the first thing I do when I move to a new house is a herb garden. My children were treated with teas and compresses and poultices :-)

I'm also interested in mythology and would love to know more about alchemy.

"Other" really. I like the card reading as it's actually doing something, then just look around for anything that catches my attention.
