Ooh I hadn't heard of her but I liked that. Interesting backing with a nice tootling organ and the singing was different from others of the time. She sounded a bit angry in the middle but tailed off very pleasantly. 1972 was a brilliant time for music :32(1): .

The last tune played by random shuffle in the car today was Emtidi - Walking In The Park - it always brightens my day.

Another one I hadn't heard of - lovely singing plus discordant keyboard noise, what more could one ask for ?

Re: What are you listening to?
Mrs 2dogs wants some more jazz on the iPod in the car so I've just been finding a few MP3 downloads. I find "just jazz" a bit boring though, so have bought Lounge Lizards, Sun Ra, Magma and Annexus Quam :32(1): .

Re: What are you listening to?
The tracks on those were good enough but I couldn't listen to a whole album in one go. I've gone back to 4000 track randomness on my big iPod dock today - Sun Ra has played a bit of jazz already but it sounds a lot better mixed in with the psych/prog/kraut/space/alt-rock, electronic and ambient etc :32(12): .2dogs wrote: ↑26 Jul 2017, 10:30 Mrs 2dogs wants some more jazz on the iPod in the car so I've just been finding a few MP3 downloads. Joy Division is Mrs 2dogs favourite and the complete works box set is in the mix in the car.Sibylline wrote: ↑29 Jul 2017, 22:48 Late 70s/early 80s post-punk (or whatever you want to call it)
