20 minutes in the drive-thru at the local McDonalds.

I get an order in and pay for it at the first window. When I get to the second window, they tell me to pull up behind a car in front of me that is already waiting for food that will be cold by the time anybody gets free to bring it to them.

"No. Let's just call this a learning experience. Don't bother. I'll go somewhere else."

It will be a while before I go back there.

Oh dear, that's not what McDonald's was supposed to be about. Most of the leaflets we get in the letterbox are advertising the many pizza takeaways we are surrounded by who are desperately trying to think of something new. The last one showed a photo of a pizza covered in chocolate goo :32(24): .

Chocolate goo?

That's just crazy!

Mind you, Scotland proudly introduced deep fried Mars bars a few years ago. Batter and all!

My beefaroonie of the day is mobile phone tariffs.
I'm on a "unlimited broadband" plan or so I thought!
Because I had to use my mobile data rather than my home wi-fi , I've had to pay £110 for the months of July!

Yes, the mobile phone industry is something to be very wary of. Luckily I have no friends and just pay work back for the very little personal use I make of their phone - most of my time on it is spent blocking the nuisance callers trying to find out my name. Sounds like you need a chocolate pizza!

OMG!
Thats basically a pizza base with a whole XXL jar of chocolate spread on top, right?
There's a chain of pizza restaurants in the UK - Pizza Express they're called- that used to offer dough balls with a pot of chocolate spread as a kids' pudding!
Dont know if they still do it but yeah....shocking!

Britain is full of creative food ideas like this - as in the Wigan area of Lancashire noted for its pies :32(12): .

How about a "chick-cone" sweet waffle cone filled with chicken lumps?

:32(8): I just found aphids on my little lemon balm plant! Grrr! No wonder it was struggling. And here I was thinking I had done something wrong!

I've always been a bit of an unintentional plant killer. I really do try to keep plants alive but unfortunately for me and the plants I own I'm pretty sure I didn't inherit Mum's green fingers!

I was doing so well this time with remembering to water it and other herbs I got at the start of to year (although there has definitely been some close calls!) And then I find those nasty little green sap suckers! I'm hoping the neem oil will do the trick so I won't have to resort to more drastic measures...
