Hello from Ohio!

Post by ThunderWolf »

Hi all!

I've been reading the tarot for 22 years and was at AT for a brief time. I was saddened this evening when I went back there to find it had been shut down. So after looking around a bit I came upon this forum and thought I'd give it a go. I'm happy to meet you! Any questions? Feel free to ask! The worst that can happen is I'll deem it too personal and kindly refuse to answer. :icon_e_smile:

I stick primarily with RWS clones, but really, anything that lends itself well to reading the imagery on the card is good! For years I read with Ellen Cannon Reed's The Witches Tarot. For a short time I switched to Ciro Marchetti's Legacy of the Divine Tarot. But I've been using Eric Dunne's Tarot Illuminati since it came out, and I found it well worth my money to have some of the standard versions of that one shipped to the US from Italy as it's not in print here. The cards aren't as stiff as what are in the kit, and they are much easier to handle! I've used a lot of other decks along the way, but those are the primary ones I remember using, although early on I did use the Hanson-Roberts Tarot for a time.

I’m in Akron, you? I am an OLD AT’er, I recall your name.

Welcome! Another Ohio member! That's gotta be a serendipitous happening, two of you from Ohio on the same day.

Look around and find out what we have going on here and then just dive in and enjoy.
