Greetings,
My name is Vlad, I come from Romania and I found this interesting site thanks to a good friend.
I'm an amateur in terms of Tarot divination, doing spreads mostly for myself. Also I'm interested in various spiritual practices.
Nice to meet everyone of you!

Some of our monthly reading clubs still accept subscriptions till the end of today. A perfect way for relative beginners to get some practice and sharpen their wits!

Hello, Vlad! Enjoy tarot. Live & learn...is, or was, Budapest in Romania? My grandmother was born there.

Re: Hello from Romania
Budapest is the capital of Hungary, you probably talk about Bukarest ;-) Both beautiful cities.
Welcome, Vlad! I'm very interested in cartomancy traditions from Eastern Europe, and also innovations from there. Do you have a tarot scene in Romania, and how does it look? Tarot shops, preferred decks, homegrown decks, beliefs and rituals around cards, playing cards...? A lot of questions, I'm sorry, of course you don't have to answer. But I'm really glad to see someone from Romania! It's many years since I was there but I remember it as beautiful country with very friendly people.

Re: Hello from Romania
Thank you everyone for your warm welcome!
Thanks for clarifying, yes, capital city is Bucharest. Glad to hear you like here.
I am not sure about the tarot scene in Romania, maybe because I learned about tarot from international books and internet (I mostly use Rider Waite deck). Decks that are found here are not a lot different than in Western Europe.
I guess gypsies use the German playing cards and the common ones for divination.
There are some rituals around cards, gypsy witches are doing a lot but I'm not sure about how much is genuine divination or scam...
I can make a research and post later.
I'm trying to learn Yi Jing and Ba Zi for my own use (I'm very interested in Far Eastern methods).
Best wishes
