Re: 6 of Cups

So you came back here... What a good call! :64(39): Even though this may be a bit of a digression, your post reminded me of RWS's 6 of Cups, which also speaks to a sense of enjoyment, but with a certain nostalgic connotation, as in reviving what used to be a source of joy once before already. Anyway...

Re: XIX - The Sun

Couldn't it just mean that the sun light wakes yinz up in the morning?

In which case dark curtains and/or a tight shutter may be the way to go!

Re: X - Fortune

Occult lore has it that, as a matter of fact, we are the authors of our own destiny - since we are co-creators as it were, casting what we harbour in our mind onto the screen of external reality. On another note, Thoth's Fortune card in particular always had a distinct cosmic feel to me. I'd say as ...

Re: I - The Magus

Could we agree that the, err, object in your other avatar is a magical wand of sorts? Of course it is, the device was initially named the Hitachi Magic Wand and was manufactured for relieving tension and relaxing sore muscles. This particular version is called a Pink Droid which resonates strangely...

Re: My favorite oracle is...

Thanks for the clarification regarding the Moon's as opposed to the Earth's attractive force. I renember having read that the Moon has 1/81 of the Earth's mass, so this makes sense. I looked up your scope and yes, it really seems to be the Meade equivalent of mine. https://i.postimg.cc/9w1jYXZv/IMG-...

Re: I - The Magus

Shall we call this the union of the snake? :icon_lol: After reading Wikipedia that seems very apt. Lyricist Simon Le Bon (notoriously reticent about explaining his oblique lyrics) hinted in the Duran Duran lyric book The Book of Words that the borderline might be one between the conscious...

Welcome (back) Serpentwand! :icon_mrgreen:

Looking at my own avatar, you can tell I am sympathetic to the way you feel about Hermes' wand and the union of polarities it suggests.

Shall we call this the union of the snake? :icon_lol:

Re: My favorite oracle is...

Hey 2dogs I vividly remember your awesome solar system cards that you were using in conjunction with your Thoth deck! :big: I am not sure that there is no magic in them, however, even though they may not have been designed with magical purposes in mind. Aren't the bodies of our solar system magical ...
