thanks Belinda2 for the links and additional info.

i saw some of the Deste videos, both reviews and readings by Chris in greece. his channel is a plethora of various forms of divination. i like the geomancy cards and the die that he made himself. i’m all about DIY!

he also reviewed the DaVinci Tarot, and that’s one deck i would love to have in my collection. a Michelangelo or Raphael deck would be amazing too.
Yes I think he knows his stuff, this week I might view some of his videos, but right now I need to concentrate on learning the Kipper cards.

I am gonna try to study my sun and moon deck first. I just love that deck. wish i could get the tin.
Yes I myself can be easily distracted by all the things I want to learn, and it's good you can focus for the week on the one deck.

never heard them... thanks! i love the handcrafted look of the wooden staves, very nice. i’ve never gotten into runes, or anything celtic for that matter.

i did have a set of i-ching sticks once, and consulted them on occasion. it was at that time i learned a bit about feng shui, when i met a chinese/thai woman that was really into it. she had hired an older chinese feng shui master (a woman) to come in and evaluate the space she had just leased for her new business. this is a real big deal in asian communities, apparently. the master came in, looking like a wizard in an elaborate embroidered silk coat, with her huge compass and some old manuscripts... but within seconds she loudly stated that the energy was extremely bad and that she could offer absolutely no help whatsoever. there was a brief heated argument (in mandarin) and the deposit was returned, then the feng shui master literally ran out of the building screaming.

apparently the compass needle was spinning uncontrollably within the future business space and the master had never seen anything like it before in her life. needless to say, the business failed! this was in the bonaventure hotel in los angeles. that hotel really was a dead zone, come to think of it. it looked like four shiny coffee cans. is it even still standing?

The best kind of charms would be those that you found yourself that are personal to you, and you asign meaning too. I would think it could be anything that is small and that you can throw ( cast),
sorry, didn’t see this post, thanks for the reply.

i am thinking about this! so far i have a ring, an old key, some sea shells and a tiny car. not so sure about assigning the meanings tho, as i’m more of a “give me a system and i’ll follow it” type of person. (i have a hard time making up my own card spreads.)

i will have to look deeper into charm casting, as the thought of a little 3D system is intriguing.

Yes I have been looking at the witch Runes on ebay, I will need to buy one with a book, there are some pretty ones out there, made of gemstones or wood.

Years ago I had a crystal ball but I used it more as an acting prop ( I was into acting in these days). A new shop in my mall has a blacken mirror ( later I found out that they are called Magic mirror). Nostradamus was supposed to have used one.

Interesting story the hotel is still there but I have never stayed there, it is too expensive for me. As a matter of fact when they were building it my dad was the electrician.
