I couldn’t find a place for this, so here I am. This box is just begging to be blinged!
Boxes & bags, oh my!

Re: Boxes & bags, oh my!
Canid! I have used my SAMSUNG box too - for holding a deck of tarot cards that the original box was ruined for. I have been tempted to paint it or something--but so far, (over a year now) I haven't done that. :) I just LOVE boxes. Always did. And can always find a way to reuse them. :)

Re: Boxes & bags, oh my!
aahhh, great opportunity for upcycling!
i should make a visit to my local japanese grocery store. they often sell unusual items in small, sturdy boxes. i’d hate to buy something just for the box, but you never know, hahah.
i remember once i purchased some yokkan (a type of dessert with red bean paste and sugar, and in this case, chestnuts) and i was utterly fascinated by the cardboard packaging. sturdy, with a satin finish and gorgeous graphics. they go all out! it was too small for a deck of cards, but they do sell them in multiple packs.... hmmmm.
