The Ancient Italian has been my go to deck since it came out, though the Deck of the Bastard is a very close second. And I keep a very battered wine-stained Vanessa in my bag for girls night out with my friends.

I've used the Centennial RWS for others with some success; this Halloween just past I used The Bohemian Gothic at a Tarot meetup. Probably not an everyday deck though!

For Tarot Meetup groups I also use:
Albano Waite
Aquarian Tarot
Morgan Greer (Italian Edition)
Cosmic Tarot
Fountain Tarot
Jodorowsky Camoin TdM
Flornoy Dodal TdM

Anything with non-fancy imagery really I find works really well when reading for others.

I have many decks that I like, and I really enjoy changing decks often, plus, the action of chosing a reading deck is already part of the reading, in a way. So, I usually have a selection at hand.

The Clover tarot is one that I really, really like, and it gives deep reading and is beautiful. Probably one of my first choice.
The Druidcraft is a solid classic, easy to read and rich also.
The Bohemian Gothic is a personnal favourite of mine, close to my heart, but it is darker than most decks.
The Mermaid Tarot is fun, with its cartoonish art, and still very reliable.

For all these, I have backups, so I do not feel too anxious about bringing my cards out in the big wild world (if I take the Bohemian Gothic tarot, it will be the most recent edition, not my precious Pewter edition wich stays safely at home....)

I also really love the Victorian Romantic, Baroque Bohemian Cats and Fantastic Menagerie tarot, they are beautiful and give excellent readings, but these ones I dont really want other people to handle them too much, so they are more "stay at home" decks.

The Thoth, no question. That was the deck I've started with and the deck I will always go to. A close second is the Deviant Moon.

You should join us for the Thoth reading circle in December!

Morgan Greer - I have no idea why but I adore this one to pieces. The 70' charm is my jam :icon_mrgreen:

Vision Quest - so delicate, subtle and gives a lot of encouragment in themy harsh times.

Nicoletta Ceccoli - very intuitive but with clear answers.

Viceversa, definitely. I got my 1st one Feb 5 & we fell in love. I’ve been madly acquiring others lately because I love pretty art, but this one has even replaced Druidcraft, which was my go-to for years.

The Thoth, as I said before, yes, always. But there's also the Tabula Mundi - now, in the pocket edition, I can use it for readings (the big version is on my wall as tarot calendar...). And I use the Silhouette Tarot very often, it practically reads itself :-)

That's right. I forgot that you didn't use your big TM as a reading deck. I'd love to hear more, at some point, about your impressions on reading it.
