The only thing I truly dislike about it is the size, which discourages me from using it when I want a pagan-themed deck (I'm not a trimmer). I like the artwork, and the excellent companion book makes it worthwhile to buy the kit.

it just hit me wrong when i used it for a recent reading. It was so so before. Well will put it away a for a bit and then check it again. Like Dante, it feels like a mean deck to me. I did an interview on the deck and it came out mean. love the art. but won't use the deck. The intention behind the deck is not nice.

I like it since I trimmed off the borders. It feels very masculine to me, but I have not picked up mean.

Dante feels mean, maybe patronizing. Druid Craft just feels like its slacking on the job....

Now I'm going to have to put that deck through my "personality profile" deck interview spread. Stay tuned.

And here it is. Not all that different from your own impressions, actually.

that was a great reading, athough it was the Dante deck i called mean, and DC was sloppy, slacking on the job, and not helpful.

It looks like you were calling them both mean: "Like Dante, it feels like a mean deck to me."

Yes I read that you were finding it mean like Dante.

Great deck interview Barleywine. I have also found it a strong and opinionated deck. It delivers clear messages in my experience but not a 'go to' deck I pick up very often. Doesn't have the warmest demeanour.

I also very much like your Chrysalis interview that I was sucked into via a link under the Druidcraft review :)
