Links that won't post properly

I hit one the other day - and Michael hit one yesterday. They are visible if you go to quote the post involved but not in the post itself.

Mine was this:

It still doesn't show. (I gave up and posted a link to images on AT.)

Michael's was

I edited out the https:// bit of Michael's and then it did show.

You will have to quote this post to see them.... And for some reason there is a HUGE gap in the post instead ! What causes it ? Can you fix ?

I am not sure what you are referring to. if its images, I can edit the post to show them.

No, Jo Ann - they were just web links to decks on amazon. We both typed in links - and they vanished, leaving a huge space. But go to quote the post and you can see them. I can put images in just fine - but these weren't images.

I can work around it - but it shouldn't be like that - it isn't on any other forum. Is it possible that it's because this forum doesn't use https ? The links involved were both https - because amazon is.

if you look up when you are posting a msg, you will see a green ball and a chain link. You can use that to post links in the msgs.
